Jobs and the economy have reached record numbers for everyone under President Trump. Even though the liberal media ignores this factor, it is a huge win for Trump.
One other thing he can take credit for is record low unemployment among African Americans. Trump mentioned this, much to the chagrin of Democrats in attendance, at his incredible State of the Union Address Tuesday evening.
“African-American, Hispanic-American and Asian-American unemployment have all reached their lowest levels ever recorded. Unemployment for Americans with disabilities has also reached an all-time low.”
Even though Democrats refuse to cheer this achievement, Ben Carson, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development showed them the proper way to react to this news.
“It’s indisputable. It’s just that some people won’t admit it because it flies in the face of their narrative. He does it because he loves our country and he wants it to be successful.”
Carson has been very quiet ever since President Trump nominated him as HUD secretary, preferring to do the job to the best of his ability and assist Americans struggling to find appropriate housing. Every so often he comes out when the time is right and gives his well thought out opinion on the day’s news.
His take on why Democrats keep obstructing Trump is spot on.
“It detracts from their argument that capitalism is horrible. That we are a horrible country. That we treat minorities the wrong way, we are racist. I guess that’s why there are caravans of minorities trying to get in here.”
Ben Carson knows that President Trump will stop at nothing in order to make this country great again.
